EMSL Software Projects

The projects here were originally created by members of the EMSL(www.emsl.pnl.gov) staff. The following projects are hosted here:

BUHFS

BUHFS is a FUSE based file system for Linux that exposes a remote HPSS file system locally. It is useful if you want to be able to access HPSS file systems from Linux applications that have not been modified to use libhpss.

The Current Version is available on the ReleasePage

If you have any questions, I can be reached at Kevin.Fox@pnl.gov

LIBDINTERPOSE

LIBDINTERPOSE is useful to you if you want to write tests for your programs or libraries that uses 3rd party libraries. It lets you easily intercept library calls to the other library and change behavior before and/or after the call. This is useful, among other things, for unit testing your code. You can also build these debug libraries so that you can return values based purely on environment variables to greatly simplify testing. No header file or knowledge of the functions arguments is necessary for proper operation.

If you have any questions, I can be reached at Kevin.Fox@pnl.gov

NWPerf

Setting up a cluster with NWPerf?

CView

Cview is a 3d graphics engine designed for displaying graphically represented cluster performance data. It also includes a data management library for representing groups of related data.
